Laura is a Songwriter/Entertainer who was born in Southern California. Laura began writing songs at an early age and had her first recording studio experience at the age of 16. After performing around Southern Cal for a few years, Laura began her cross country journey to Nashville where she spent the next 30 years writing, co-writing and recording with some of Nashville’s legends. Some of her co-writing experiences were with Harlan Howard, Stewart Harris, John Scott Sherrill, Tom Shapiro, Rory Bourke, Larry Henley, Jim Weatherly, Even Stevens and many others. “Leave One Bridge Standing” co-written by Laura and Stewart, was recorded by Holly Dunn and accompanied by a music video. “Let the Girl Be Herself, A second song co-written by Laura and Stewart, was recorded by Tammy Graham. Laura signed with EMI and recorded an album with Giant Records, produced by James Stroud and showcased at the Ryman Auditorium. Laura enjoyed writing and performing country music but longed to express her soulful energy, so she decided to change things up a bit. Those changes led to her R&B album called “Healin Love” co-written and produced with Rick Giles. Laura’s soul shines as her rare vocal range flows seamlessly through many Genres of music and you can feel her passion and love for music.
